Overview

Vivid Custom Fields Export for Shopify is a focused export app for merchants whose production or fulfillment workflow depends on personalization and other custom order data.

What the app does

The app reads order-level and line-item custom attributes from Shopify, discovers their keys automatically, and turns them into separate deterministic CSV columns. After Analyze, choose which order and line-item custom fields to include. There is no report builder.

• One CSV row is produced for each line item.

• Order-level values repeat on every line-item row for that order.

• Dynamic columns use the names “Order: <key>” and “Item: <key>”.

• All detected custom fields are included by default. Deselecting a field removes its CSV column without removing order or line-item rows.

The workflow

Choose a date range of up to 60 calendar dates in your Shopify shop timezone. Analyze shows order count, line-item count, and detected order and item keys. Choose the custom fields to include, then Download CSV re-reads current Shopify data and creates a fresh file. The six standard columns always remain. Your selection is shared across the shop and saved after the complete CSV reaches your browser and its download starts. The browser cannot confirm that the file was ultimately saved to disk. New fields default to included.

Access and data handling

The app requests only the read_orders scope and never modifies orders. Order data, custom attributes, and CSV contents are processed transiently. They are not kept in persistent order storage, an export cache, or CSV history.

Complete files only

A retrieval or generation failure aborts the export. The app never offers partial Shopify Bulk Operation data or a partial CSV as though it were complete.
