Privacy at a glance

This page is a plain-language summary of how the app handles export data. For complete information about processing, retention, service providers, legal rights, and contact details, read the Privacy Policy.

• Read-only access: the app requests only read_orders and never modifies Shopify orders.

• Transient exports: order data, line items, custom attributes, and generated CSV contents are processed in memory for Analyze or Download. The app does not intentionally store them on disk, in PostgreSQL, as an order cache, or as CSV history.

• Limited customer data: the app does not request direct customer name, email, postal address, or phone fields. Custom attributes can still contain personal or sensitive information entered through Shopify or another app.

• Sensitive-log exclusions: app-owned logs do not contain custom-field keys or values, SKUs, CSV contents, customer identity fields, access tokens, or secrets.

Your downloaded CSV

After Download, the CSV is under your control. Store, share, and delete it according to your organization’s privacy, security, and production policies.

Getting help safely

When contacting info@vividinsight.xyz, provide sanitized details. Never send access tokens, customer information, order contents, custom-field values, or an unredacted production CSV.

Remembered field selection

We retain shop-wide field-selection preferences as technical identifiers of excluded fields, without storing the original custom-field names or values. These identifiers remain linked to the shop; they are not anonymous data. Preferences are retained until the fields are re-enabled, or deleted on uninstall or shop redaction. Encrypted database backups may contain these preferences and expire within the existing 30-day retention period.
